Absolute! Framemakers was founded in Orange County in 1985 as an extension of the John Thomas Gallery and was known as "AQL Fine Art Services." In 1991, the shop moved to Santa Monica and the name was changed to "Absolute! Framemakers." We have been in our present location near Culver City for over ten years.
Managed by Pete McCarvill and Jack Buick, we supply quality picture frames to galleries, museums, artists and other professionals. We do have a select group of retail clients but such is not our primary focus.
Absolute! frames have found their way into major museums and important collections throughout the United States, Canada and Europe.
